The modules of
the PMP-Software are perfectly suited for supporting the information
management of the mechanical process engineering. The description of
grainy materials by grading properties forms the basis here. These
properties are most manifold and influence each other. The fineness of
a solid is a dominant description form, which corresponds directly with
many other properties. Normally, the fineness is described by a
particle size distribution - where, during evaluation, influences of the measuring method, the
quality of sampling and the presentation need to be considered. The
connection between fineness values and other material properties,
especially application properties, is of big interest. These contexts need to
be adapted to real practical conditions on handling a current problem solution.

The PMP-Software offers general methods and modules for
connecting different information, evaluating the certitude of statement and
providing unified methods for a wide application.

The following
problem solutions for example will be supported by combinations of
methods: |
| uniformly presenting and logging of
particle size distributions |
| linking information of different measuring
methods |
| comparative evaluations by means of unitary
fineness values |
| creating an unified data basis |
| evaluating the representativeness of fineness values |
| setting up contexts between fineness values and
application properties |
| providing grading information for
procedural calculations: |
mixing, balance

On this basis,
an unified data
basis is created in order to file information,
descriptions and models for comminution- and classification machines
and providing them for a wide re-use. By simply linking devices and
machines in flowsheets, complex system effects can be considered. Therewith, problem
solutions will be set up for
